ON THE 28th JANUARY 2005, THE SAINTY FAMILY CREATED TOP FUEL DRAG RACING HISTORY WHEN THEY RAN THIS AWESOME 4-SECOND PASS WITH THEIR SELF BUILT DRAG RACER. THE UNIQUE INGREDIENT ABOUT THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS CAR IS THAT IT WAS ENTIRELY BUILT IN AUSTRALIA, BY AUSTRALIANS. WITH THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS OF HOURS OF LABOUR, THE UNIQUE 6000 HORSEPOWER SAINTY 3 VALVE ENGINE WAS DEVELOPED BY THE SAINTY FAMILY IN THEIR ENGINEERING WORKSHOP IN SYDNEY, AND NEARLY EVERY COMPONENT OF THIS VEHICLE WAS PERSONALLY HAND BUILT. THERE HAVE BEEN SOME MONUMENTAL MOMENTS IN AUSTRALIAN DRAG RACING, BUT FOR ME, THIS WAS ONE OF THE FINEST. A TRULY PATRIOITC TEAM TOTALLY DEDICATED TO THEIR PASSION FOR RACING ON NITRO, THE SAINTY'S GOT ONE OF THE BIGGEST CHEERS I HAVE EVER HEARD FROM THE VERY SUPOPORTIVE PERTH MOTORPLEX FANS...ELAPSED TIME: 4.87 SECONDS, SPEED: 297 mph (478 kmh).
